Last night I had a killer headache.. so I wasn't up for our usually pre-bed zombie-slaying in Resident Evil 5. Instead I wanted to test my new Jot stylus, which had arrived a while ago but I hadn't had a chance to test it yet. I wasn't up to drawing much, but I did manage to draw this... loosely based on our boy bunny, Digby.

Conclusion on the jot: it's certainly more accurate than the bamboo, and it's nice to be able to see (more or less) where you're marking. However, the hard plastic tip nib against the sceen is unyielding, with little friction which makes it feel a little like drawing on ice. It also makes an annoying tapping sound every time you make contact w/the screen, which doesn't bother me too much (unless I'm doing dots!), but I can imagine it would annoy my housemates if I sat drawing while they watched TV o.O All in all I'm hopeful that the tip will at least last longer than the bamboo nibs (which I've been getting through at an alarming rate) but I'm not sure that I prefer it for actual drawing comfort.
